This is a sunrise at about 6:45 am from the catamaran heading out to the Napali Coast
After kayaking up the Wailua we secured out kayaks at an island in the north fork. We walked on foot through the canyons and tropical rain forest of the Wailua River Valley to Secret Falls a.k.a. Uluwehi Waterfalls
After this long hike (without shoes) Betty was ready for a break. She had gotten a bit muddy on the way!

The cove of our hotel had a beautiful beach along with a scenic rocky edge. It was beautiful to see the waves crashing against the rocks.
